Candle safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep away from children, pets and flammable objects. Keep candles at least 10 cm apart. Do not burn in a draught or near a heat source. Place upright. Trim the wick to 1 cm. Snuff out the flame; do not blow it out or use liquid to extinguish it. Keep the wax pool clear of matches and debris. Never move a burning candle. Remove packaging before use. The glass may become hot: do not touch while hot and handle with care.

Extinguish if the candle smokes, flickers repeatedly, the flame becomes too high or touches the container side. Do not use a damaged container. Extinguish when approximately 1 cm of wax remains. Read and retain the supplied safety label, shown in the product gallery. The supplied label warns that the candle may produce an allergic reaction; check the label on your chosen scent before use.
